MediSTAR: Medicine Engineering and Drug Innovation STARS

The MediSTAR summer program is designed to introduce talented and self-motivated high school students to Translational medicine education at Harvard University. Students will learn an overview of the drug development pipeline and the clinical trial process through daily virtual sessions with Harvard faculty and researchers. Students will establish a comprehensive picture of the current clinical landscape of a selected disease by mining data from the clinicalTrials.govwebsite. In addition to the scientific knowledge, MediSTAR will equip students with vital soft skills in scientific presentation and data visualization as they work towards gaining an in-depth understanding of translational science.  The program is hosted by the Mitragotri Laboratory for Drug Delivery.
