Science Operations

Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) Science Operations seeks to excel research, innovation, and technological development by supporting scientific infrastructure and providing expertise for our community.

• Areas of laboratory compliance : coordinating support and implementing recommendations from EH&S, IACUC, DEA, IRB, COMs and other central offices.
• Environmental Safety and Compliance Officer (ESCO) for SEAS which includes aspects of laboratories, building, & occupational safety.
• Vendor relations in conjunction with procurement.
• Oversight of shared research facilities at SEAS.
• Campus Planning and Design: lab design development, safety/feasibility assessments, equipment purchases, and lab moves.
• In collaboration with EH&S, Facilities, Office for Sustainability, & SEAS administration, policy and programing development.
