Peer Concentration Advisors (PCA) Program

PCAs serve as peer advisors for pre-concentrators (and current concentrators), providing a valuable perspective and helping students to discover additional resources and opportunities.

If you would like to be matched to a PCA, you can do one of the following:

  1. Reach out by email to a PCA with similar academic, career, or extracurricular interests by exploring their bios below.
  2. Get paired with a PCA by filling out the Find my PCA Google Form. While we recognize some students might know exactly what they are looking for, we are happy to help pair you.

If you are interested in becoming a PCA, contact am-advising@seas.harvard.edu.

Hi! I’m Sarah, a senior in Currier House studying Applied Mathematics on the Government track. I can also give tips on the student-athlete experience (I was a coxswain on the varsity rowing team my freshman to junior years) and choosing the best classes that will set you up for success, especially if you started in Math 1A, like me! I look forward to meeting you, and please feel free to reach out!

Henry Jackson

Email: hjackson1@college.harvard.edu

Headshot of PCA Henry Jackson

Hi everyone! I'm Henry and I'm a senior in Eliot House studying Applied Math and Economics. Most of my favorite courses at Harvard have been in the economics department, so if you are interested in that track within AM, I'd be happy to give recommendations. I can also give advice on choosing between a concentration in economics, statistics, applied math, and pure math, since I considered all of those at one point. Outside of class, I'm a violinist in the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra and participate in a variety of chamber music groups (I took Music 189r, spent a few semesters in the Brattle Street Chamber Players, etc.). I also love sports and spend my free time playing basketball, spikeball, volleyball, and squash on our club or IM teams. I spent my freshman summer in corporate finance, my sophomore summer on the investment team at an endowment in San Francisco, and will be spending my junior summer at an alternative asset manager in New York. Happy to talk about music, sports, internship recruiting (especially in finance), economics coursework, or anything else you are curious about!
