Access

Active Harvard community members (students, staff, and faculty with a valid HUID) are welcome to gain access to the REEF Makerspace. At this time we are unable to accommodate alumni, spouses, and minors enrolled in summer programs. If you are new to the REEF Makerspace, please use the following links to schedule an in-person, 20 minute orientation, and complete the online training portion:

(1)   Schedule an In-Person Orientation (close toed-shoes and an HUID are required)

(2)   Machine Shop and Makerspace Safety-Soldering Required (EHS) online training

Swipe access to the REEF is typically approved within one week of both (1) completing the in-person orientation and (2) completing the online training.

If you are a returning member (meaning you have completed the in-person orientation at least once), please make sure your online training is up to date within the last 365 days to retain swipe access. Reach out to Joe at jkile@seas.harvard.edu with questions or issues.
