Fellow CS graduate student Meeta Sharma Gupta was also recognized as one of the 28 finalists; she will receive $1,000. The Google Anita Borg Scholarship was formed to too further the vision of Anita's revolutionizing the way technology is thought about. She strived to take down barriers that women and minorities faces when entering the technology and computer field.
