Yuga Cohler, A.B. '11, (computer science) has co-created an orchestral composition that combines the works of Beethoven with those of Kanye West.
Cohler, who was recently appointed music director and conductor of the Young Musicians Foundation (YMF) Debut Orchestra, produced the piece in collaboration with composer Stephen Feigenbaum. The piece, Yeethoven, was featured at the start of the 2015/2016 YMF season when the orchestra launched The Great Music Series, a concert series which explores the elements common to massively popular music and works from the classical canon.
He concomitantly works as a software engineer at Google.
