Jean Liu, S.M. ’02 (computer science), president of the Chinese ride-sharing company Didi Chuxwing, will be a featured speaker at the 2016 Re/code Code Conference, to be held from May 31 to June 2 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
Liu, who joined the company from Goldman Sachs, will discuss how ride-sharing companies are changing the transportation industry around the world. Didi Chuxwing, the chief competitor of Uber in China, provides taxis, private cars, social carpooling, and buses.
