Robert Anderson, S.B. '19, mechanical engineering
Why engineering?
“I love to build things and solve problems. Engineering is the best way for me to accomplish both tasks in one concentration.”
Favorite projects?
“As my Eagle Scout project I designed and built adaptive computer stands for children at Schriner’s Hospital. Many of the kids confined in wheelchairs didn’t have access to computers to entertain themselves or connect with family.”
Robert is also currently working on a few patents, has completely refurbished a 1970 Ford Mustang, and can most often be found tinkering in SEAS Active Learning Labs.
Life goals?
“Starting an engineering firm and solving worldwide issues. I’ll have the resources and teams necessary to combat problems.”
