WHOOP, a startup co-founded by Aurelian Nicolae, S.B. ’12 (mechanical engineering) has raised $25 million in financing from investors.
The Boston-based company, which produces a wearable device that measures body strain, was co-founded in 2012 by Nicolae, John Capodilupo, and Will Ahmed. WHOOP will use the funds to accelerate global scale and international expansion.
Nicolae currently serves as product engineer at WHOOP.
