Guggenheim fellow

L. Mahadevan has been awarded a 2006 Guggenheim Fellowship

The winners include 187 artists, scholars, and scientists selected from almost 3,000 applicants. Mahadevan, one of four faculty members from Harvard bestowed with the honor, was given the award to support his future research on the integrative pathophysiology of sickle-cell disease.
