Craig Partridge, S.M. ’88 (applied math), Ph.D. ’92, (computer science) was recently interviewed by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for the "People of ACM" website.
Partridge, chief scientist of networking research for Raytheon BBN Technologies, discussed some of the biggest surprise developments in high-speed networking, the unique challenges of conducting Department of Defense-funded research, and techniques to improve the radio spectrum to meet future capacity requirements.
