Mee-Jung Jang, A.B. ’06 (computer science and economics) has been named managing director of the new Metlife Digital Accelerator, Powered by Techstars.
She is co-founder and executive director of Jefferson Investors, a Hartford, Conn.-based venture capital firm that invests in early stage startups across a variety of sectors. Jang is also a member of the 21st class of Kauffman Fellows, an organization that further develops and networks global leaders in the venture capital industry.
As managing director, Jang will travel to cities around the world to recruit startups for the Cary, N.C. accelerator.
