Lisa Gualtieri, Ph.D. '89

RecycleHealth, a nonprofit founded by Lisa Gualtieri, Ph.D. ’89 (computer science), has been featured by CNBC.

The nonprofit, which Gualtieri launched in 2015, collects fitness trackers, refurbishes them, and shares them with underserved populations. Since its inception, RecycleHealth has collected more than 5,000 wearables.

Gualtieri is Assistant Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
