WHOOP, which was co-founded by Aurelian Nicolae, S.B. ’12 (mechanical engineering), has been named the official fitness wearable provider for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
WHOOP produces a high-tech fitness tracker that enables athletes to optimize performance and recovery. The company will provide its WHOOP Strap 3.0 to all LPGA players, caddies, and staff for self-monitoring to identify elevated respiratory rates that may indicate COVID-19 before the onset of symptoms.
