Two SEAS alums named to Forbes 30 Under 30 lists

Ajanoh, Agrawal recognized in food/drink, social impact fields

Two alumni of the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) have been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Lists for 2023. Pelkins Ajanoh, M.S./M.B.A. '22, was named to the Social Impact list, while Pulkit Agrawal, S.B. '15, was named to the Food & Drink list.

Ajanoh, who earned a combined M.S./M.B.A. from SEAS and Harvard Business School, is CEO and co-founder of CassVita’s patent-pending biotechnology extends the shelf life of cassava, a drought-tolerant woody shrub that is one of the biggest sources of food carbohydrates in the tropics, from three days to up to 18 months post-harvest. This process extends household food supplies and reduces agricultural income lost post-harvest.

Agrawal, a mechanical engineering concentrator at SEAS, was recognized for his work as co-founder and CEO of The 5th Ingredient. His company, founded in 2017, provides data management systems for breweries to improve product quality while reducing costs.
