Storage
If you store important school-related files on your local hard drive, please make sure to back up those files. You can get the CrashPlan Backup Service from HUIT to backup your whole computer, or you can copy your files to a group folder.
If you are a member of a SEAS research group, you probably have a shared group directory stored on our networked file servers in RC. Departments have shared folders in Sharepoint or on the SEAS network file server.
Home directories on the SEAS file server are no longer provided. All SEAS community members have access to a free OneDrive account, can get g.harvard accounts with Google Drive storage, or, if eligible, can apply for a Harvard Dropbox account.
Group directories
Research group directories have been moved to FAS RC.
Administrative group directories are in the process of being moved to Sharepoint.
Teaching Resources
The SEAS Computing in Engineering Education (CEE) group handles most of the hardware and software needs in support of SEAS courses. SEAS Computing works closely with CEE to coordinate technical resources.
SEAS Computing also facilitates access to a few cloud resources (especially GPU) to support SEAS courses. To learn about possible cloud resources to meet specific teaching needs, please email ithelp@harvard.edu and include in your message that you would like your request to be routed to SEAS Computing.
The Academic Technology Group (ATG) website provides information about additional teaching-related technology resources.
Alumni
Alumni of the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences form a diverse community of more than 10,000 professionals who are crossing disciplines, pushing boundaries, making discoveries, and serving society.

Job Postings and Research Opportunities
We strongly encourage employers to post jobs on Crimson Careers(CC). Please check CC regularly for updated listings. If you are a SEAS concentrator, you should be receiving the weekly SEAS Undergraduate Career Newsletter, which has job postings (most taken from CC). Many first-year students are also included on the distribution list, but not all. If you are not receiving this newsletter, send Keith Karasek an email. Some student groups will also post job opportunities on their club message boards.
