Mechanical engineering concentrator Lilian Magermans, S.B. '19, has spent her summer in a SEAS research lab, working to develop a better understanding of the coalescing mechanics of droplets on slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces.
This summer, James Salvador Niffenegger, S.B. '19, a mechanical engineering concentrator, has been collaborating with SEAS researchers to develop a carbon capture device, which could have applications in reducing the effects of climate change.
Mechanical engineering concentrator Benjamin Lee, S.B. '19, has spent his summer working on microfluidic devices in the lab of David Weitz, Mallinckrodt Professor of Physics and Applied Physics.
