Cross-Team Collaborations Fund

The Cross-Team Collaborations Fund creates opportunities for units to meet and learn from each other. The goals of this program are as follows: promote inter-team collaboration and communication, identify efficiencies and new opportunities, and build community and boost morale. While priority will be given to teams whose work is interconnected, the fund is open to all teams, regardless of size, who are reforging or exploring new collaborations.

OBEC Support and Funding

From January to June 2026, OBEC will provide funding and logistical support (such as room booking, purchasing, and coordination) and serve as a liaison with units such as CWD to facilitate sessions, as needed. Eligible expenses include food, event supplies, team-building activities, and digital collaboration tools. Events can include non-staff audiences, though proposals can only be submitted by staff managers. Requests will be capped at $600 per event and $40 per person.

Funding Request Procedure

Managers must submit at least 2-weeks in advance of their event to be considered. Requests would be collected via a brief form completed by staff managers. Managers can access the form here: link coming soon.
