BRIDGE Week

BRIDGE Week—Building Relationships, Increasing Dialogue, and Growing Engineers—is an annual celebration that highlights the importance of an inclusive community in STEM. Organized in collaboration with student organizations, the week features events that honor contributions to engineering, facilitate community connections, and inspire future generations.

BRIDGE Week 2026

BRIDGE Banquet

April 7 | 5:30 - 7 PM | 1.405

The BRIDGE Banquet is the cornerstone event of BRIDGE Week. Student leaders select a scientist that has made an impact on society and paved the way for future engineers. Stay tuned for our keynote speaker!

BRIDGE Lab Tours

April 8 | 3:45 - 4:45 PM | SEC Labs

We are excited to have students to participate in a new BRIDGE Week event this year: BRIDGE Lab Tours! The goal of this event is to expose undergraduates, especially first-years and sophomores, to research at SEAS via a tour of labs at the SEC. We hope to generate excitement and interest in research by giving SEAS labs a chance to showcase their work and lab spaces. The event will be one hour, during which students will tour 3 labs for 15 minutes each.

Student Mixer

April 8 | 5 - 6:30 PM | LL2 Atrium

Unwind at the Student Mixer and enjoy food, music, and games! The mixer is a chance to connect with fellow undergrads and graduate students. You will also have the chance to engage with SEAS departmentally-sponsored organizations, including the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (HSBSE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and Engineers Without Borders (EWB).

Science Demo Day

April 10 | SEC

Every BRIDGE Week, we dedicate a day to K-12 outreach! This year, we will collaborate with a Boston Public High School and invite students to engage in fun science demos led by graduate students.
