The SEAS Office of Computing offers consultation for SEAS-related website creation, user experience, responsiveness, accessibility, and web content for SEAS-affiliated scholars, lab/group, and project websites. To request a website consultation, contact SEAS Computing via an email to ithelp@harvard.edu with the subject: “Please direct to SEAS Computing.”
Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) provides Harvard website platforms that are available to SEAS. HUIT’s Harvard Web Publishing (HWP) team provides technical support for the HarvardSites WordPress (also known as CampusPress) and OpenScholar platforms. HarvardSites Drupal is an additional website building platform that is targeted for limited availability in March 2024. General availability is targeted for later in 2024. Please refer to the HUIT Platforms page for helpful information about HarvardSites platform features.

To request a new website, please review and complete the Harvard CampusPress request form (HarvardKey login required).
Below are some resources to keep in mind for Harvard and SEAS-affiliated websites.
- Sensitive data should not be published to/stored on public websites. Please refer to the Harvard data classification table for information about Harvard data levels.
- Videos posted on websites should always be captioned. Please refer to Harvard Multimedia Accessibility for details and resources.
- To ensure the accessibility of your web site, please review the Harvard Digital Accessibility Get Started page; and enroll in the Digital Accessibility for Content Creators introductory training (HarvardKey login required).
- For resources about SEAS branding, use of photography and other media, and the SEAS presence on social media channels, please visit the SEAS Office of Communications.

Course Websites
Canvas is the learning management system used for course websites at Harvard. HUIT Academic Technology provides a variety of additional technologies to support teaching and learning.
