g.harvard.edu client configuration

Before you can use pop/imap/smtp with Google, you need to configure your Google account to enable it. You may need to enable IMAP or enable POP. Then either enable less secure apps or generate an App Password if you have 2-Step verification on your account.

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your full g.harvard.edu address (username@g.harvard.edu)
Email Address: either your g.harvard.edu email address or if you have added it (instructions here) your SEAS, EECS, or CS address
Password: your g.harvard.edu password
