What are Harvard SEAS-Affiliated Student Organizations?
SEAS-Affiliated Student Organizations are Harvard College student organizations registered through the Harvard College Student Engagement Office and listed on SOCO. They are subject to Harvard College policies and procedures for student organizations. Each SEAS-Affiliated Student Organization must have significant numbers of SEAS pre-concentrators and current concentrators as members, have an advisor who is a SEAS faculty or staff member, and/or form an integral part of the SEAS learning community. SEAS-Affiliated Student Organizations must abide by Harvard College policies and procedures
SEAS-affiliated student organizations are critical to the overall growth of our concentrators as engineering and applied science professionals. These organizations enable our students to pursue passion projects and events in areas of interest that are complementary to the formal academic curriculum. These organizations provide students excellent opportunities to exercise technical leadership skills and build up their professional portfolios.
SEAS-affiliated student organizations are managed by the SEAS Teaching and Learning group and the Office for Belonging, Engagement, and Community (OBEC).
