Shuttle & Van Service

Shuttles provide a key source of cross-campus transportation. Based on community feedback, augmented services will be available to connect Cambridge and Allston.

  • Real-time shuttle tracking is also available on smartphones through the PassioGo! mobile app or shuttle.harvard.edu.

  • Digital transit screens with real-time transportation information – including Harvard shuttles, MBTA buses, and BlueBikes – are located in the SEC atrium and in 114 Western Avenue lobby.

  • Shuttle schedules and frequency are subject to construction delays, traffic, and weather.

Allston Shuttle Loop

Allston Loop Shuttle

The Allston Loop Shuttle runs clockwise between Cambridge and Allston.

Service Schedule: Academic Year

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:30am - 10:45pm
  • 7:00am - 4:00pm - shuttles run every 40 minutes
  • 4:00pm - 11:00pm - shuttles run every 20 minutes

Service Schedule: Summer & School Vacation

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 30 minutes.

 

Quad-SEC Shuttle Route

Quad-SEC Direct Shuttle Route

This new route runs during the academic year between The Quad (undergraduate residential houses Cabot, Currier, and Pforzheimer) and the Science & Engineering Complex (SEC).

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 7:20pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes.

 

Barry's Corner Shuttle Service

Barry's Corner Shuttle (Winter and Summer Service)

This route replaces the Allston Loop during summer and winter breaks.

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 10:00am & 4:20pm - 7:20pm
  • Shuttles arrive every 20 minutes.

 

Harvard Evening Van Service

Harvard Evening Van Service

The Harvard Evening Van transports faculty, staff, and students safely around campus as a supplement to the fixed route shuttle bus system. This service is free for the Harvard Community, and is intended for University business use.

The app-based service is available during the academic year from 7:00pm until 2:15am and summer service is available 7:00pm to 11:30pm. Anyone with a Harvard ID can sign up for an account.
